Hilton Head Island Destination Wedding
When Lauren first inquired with me about wedding day photography, I never would have predicted how incredible her and Joey’s wedding would be. Their wedding is one that I will always hold close to heart. I left this wedding day with a full heart, knowing that these two loved each other and God more than words can express.
Lauren and Joey chose to have a destination wedding at Hilton Head Island, having only their family and closest friends present. It was intimate, emotion-filled, beautiful (an understatement), and so intentional.
I have never met a more God-loving couple than these Lauren and Joey. Before the ceremony, Lauren and Joey met around a door, just to hear each other’s voice before the ceremony, and to pray together. Tears shed as both of them took turns praying for each other and for their wedding day.
At their ceremony on the beach, they read their own vows, prayed together, and praised and worshiped together, surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. All of the guests huddled around them and lifted them up in prayer after singing a praise and worship song together.
