Proposals

You’ve thought through the location, the ring, and what you’re going to say. The one thing left is making sure it’s captured. Proposals happen in seconds, and you might not remember a single word you said. But you’ll have the photos, and they’ll tell you everything.

I’ve photographed proposals across the country, scouting locations, building backup plans, and hiding in the bushes without being obvious about it. You handle the proposal. I’ll handle the rest.

Engagement Sessions

You’re engaged! This is one of the sweetest seasons of your relationship. Before the wedding planning begins, everything still feels new, exciting, and a little unreal.

Engagement photos are made for exactly this season. They show the two of you as you are right now: the inside jokes, the way you lean into each other, the easy laughter that comes naturally.

Anniversary Sessions

You don’t need a big number on the calendar to deserve photos of your relationship. Three years in looks different from ten, and ten looks different from twenty. Each version of who you are together is worth remembering while you’re in it.

Some couples book a session every year, not for a milestone, but because it’s simply something they do. Those sessions are some of my favorites. There’s no pressure, because you already know each other. We just show up and remember this season together.

Questions couples ask before they reach out.

  • Engagement and anniversary sessions are $450 and include 40 edited images. A $150 retainer and signed contract reserve your date. Proposal sessions are $600 and include 40 edited images, with a $200 retainer and signed contract to cover the extra planning and scouting. Your retainer goes toward your session, and the remaining balance is due on your session date.

  • Your online gallery will be ready within two weeks of your session. From there, I’ll help you choose prints, framed wall art, or an heirloom album, and once your design is approved, your products arrive in about two weeks.

  • On our planning call, I’ll get a feel for your style and what feels most like you. Then I’ll suggest a few spots within 30 minutes of Riverview, from Spanish moss oaks and open fields to calm bay beaches. If there’s a place that means something to you, like where you met or had your first date, I’d love to photograph you there.

  • Most couples tell me that at the start! You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you with simple prompts that get you moving, talking, and laughing together, so the photos look like the two of you on a really good day.

  • Once you reach out, we’ll plan everything together: the location, the timing, and where I’ll be hiding. I’ll scout the spot ahead of time and help you build a backup plan in case of weather or crowds. On the day, I’ll blend in and capture the whole moment, from the question to the yes. Afterward, we’ll take a few portraits of the two of you while it all sinks in.

  • Not at all. Whether it’s your first year or your twentieth, or no milestone at all, every season of your relationship is worth remembering. Some couples book a session every year simply because they want to.

  • We’ll go over outfits together before your session. In general, soft textures and neutral tones with one pop of color photograph beautifully. Choose outfits that complement each other without matching, and wear something you feel comfortable moving in.
