Pregnancy and the newborn days can feel long but the moments are fleeting.
I photograph both of these seasons because they're the ones that disappear before you've had a chance to really appreciate them. The bump that's suddenly gone. The way they fit in your hands in the first week. The quiet in the room before everything changes.
Maternity Sessions
A maternity session isn't about looking a certain way. It's the fact that one day you can show your child that they’ve been with you all along. These are the photos that sit on nightstands and live in baby books and get pulled out years from now when you can barely remember what those little kicks felt like.
At-Home Newborn Sessions
The newborn scrunch. The way they fit perfectly on your chest. The older sibling tiptoeing over to peek. The exhausted, overwhelmed, completely in love feeling of those first few weeks at home.
As a mom myself I know how overwhelming this time can feel. My job is to make it as easy as possible for you. I come to your home, work around your schedule, your baby's sleep, your toddler’s snack time. You don't have to redecorate the house. We’ll stick to 1-2 areas of your home.

Maternity sessions book in advance. Newborn dates are held during pregnancy and confirmed at birth. The earlier you reach out, the easier it is to get the timing right.
Questions I hear before families reach out.

The sweet spot is between 28 and 34 weeks. Your bump is full, you're still comfortable moving around, and the light works beautifully at that stage.

This is the most common thing I hear before maternity sessions. And I'll tell you what I tell every mom: you don't have to feel your best to walk away with photos you love.
Your little one will never look back at these images and worry how you looked. They will be focused on the love and connection we captured in your growing family.
Before your session, we’ll go over any specific questions or concerns you may have so I can make sure you feel your best during your session.

Book during your second trimester. I'll hold a tentative date and confirm once the baby arrives.
Newborn sessions are best in the first two weeks of life, ideally between days 5 and 14. After that, babies sleep less deeply and the sleepy, curled-up look that makes newborn photos look the way they do becomes harder to capture.
If your baby is already here and you haven't booked yet, reach out anyway. I'll tell you honestly whether we can still make it work.

Yes. All newborn sessions are in-home.
Your home, your baby's schedule. The most meaningful newborn photos almost always happen in the ordinary details of your home.

You don’t need to figure this out alone. Before your session, we’ll chat and prep based on your family members, home aesthetic, and vision.
The short version: something that fits and feels comfortable. Flowy fabrics photograph well. A fitted dress that shows the bump works beautifully if that's your preference. Avoid busy patterns.

Every session includes a call before your session to prep, up to an hour of shooting, online gallery to select your favorite images.
To book your session, a $99 session fee and signed contract are required. Your session fee goes towards your image bundles and secures your session date.

Within 2 weeks of your session we’ll go through your online gallery to select your favorite photos and place product orders for custom wall art or albums.
