Maternity Session FAQs | Riverview Maternity Photos
If you’re pregnant and thinking about booking a maternity session, you might have a running list of questions in your head about when to book, where to go, and who should be in the photos. Here’s what I hear from most moms before they book:
When should I book?
Most moms book between 28-36 weeks. If this is your first pregnancy you might want to wait until later in that window when your belly is really showing. The last few weeks of pregnancy can get uncomfortable quickly, so we want to avoid waiting until right before your due date and running out of time.
Is it too late if I’m further along?
As long as you’re comfortable, it’s not too late! I have location recommendations based on your activity level and who else is coming along, so we can plan around exactly where you’re at instead of forcing a plan that doesn’t fit. On your inquiry call, I’ll get a feel for what you’re looking for and recommend locations that work for your family.
Do you recommend locations?
Yes! No need to figure this out alone. Whether you love a beach or wooded kind of backdrop, I can point you toward locations that fit the style. I have location options within 30 minutes of Riverview.
Can I include my other children?
Absolutely! Some of my favorite maternity photos include the whole family. I like to get a mix during the session, family shots together, just the two of you as parents, mom with the siblings, and a few individual shots of just you. That way you walk away with a variety to choose from your gallery.
If you’re an expectant Riverview, Fish Hawk, or Apollo Beach mom looking a maternity session, I’d love to connect through the inquiry form and help plan your session. We’ll talk through timing, locations, and who’s coming along to create a session to suit all of your needs and document this special milestone for your family.
